it’s a great pleasure to see that in 2008 there are so many people that will come together on a saturday afternoon for this movie from 1975.
looking at the nft1 cinema full of people for just one of the many runs of this movie between now and march, fills the heart with joy, and makes me feel good about being in london.

the movie runs 187 minutes , and as you know, it’s a movie of static scenes, of a pictorial quality, and yet it never feels like too long or boring.

kubrick’s movies are masterpieces, they are one of a kind, gems left behind and we are lucky to have lived to see them.
