movie review: top gun (1986)

quite funny to watch this movie so many years later… was tom cruise already a scientologist at those times? I never realized that the enemies are treated in a sort of anonymous way.. besides having a red star (alluding to communism I guess), they are called “bogus” and they fly MIG but I don’t think they are ever named as belonging to a specific country.

truth is that the policy of “rogue countries” has always existed in the US, even before george w. bush announced it..
