I have lost LOST (Lost spoiler)can someone please explain me why 2 adults koreans who are about to die in a sinking submarine, should speak in english instead of their native language? have the writers of Lost grown tired of having to deal with korean dialogues?

Because it would have taken away from the scene if we had to read what they said. DUH!!!! It’s a show, not real life. In real life it would have taken Jim much longer to master the English language. Did you complain about that also?
i know it’s just TV, but i find that circumstance particularly troubling, as if the writers were almost unprofessional or even disrespectful.
