recently i have been cycling in London thanks to the Mayor’s bicycle scheme. however it ain’t nice. the streets of london are no friends of the bicycle and the current bicycle lanes arrangements is a JOKE. basically you need to be a bit crazy and suicidal to cycle regularly and longer distance in london. when [...] this morning I had the (in hindsight unfortunate) idea to check the french news, since I am traveling for the shortest ever w/e break to Paris. After reading the headlines, I feel a bit worried about France, what’s going on there and my short trip (now I see the shortness of my trip as a [...] Tomorrow, or should I say, today, an exhibition of vintage arcade video games at the Future gallery by Hand Baked Arcade, merchants in vintage arcade video games. Just as I was thinking that any other decent underground/metro system i know (tokyo, frankfurt, berlin, amsterdam, washington) has plenty of escalators [...] a well known cinema chain in the uk is offering 300 points on the fidelity program to watch “predators”. is it so awful ? |
