so this is the latest of my unfortunate purchases: a Kngston 32GB USB memory stick from (what seemed) a good rated ebay seller. I was so stupid to give good feedback as soon as I received the usb stick and then i gave it to my girlfriend (as a gift, she needed it for work). [...] Updated 11/03/2010 this is the last instalments of the farce: La Cie said that they would send a courier today to collect the hard disk but the reference number they have used is for a pickup somewhere else in the country. Not from my address. La Cie technical support is a joke, it takes them [...] Update 26/12/2009 largely overdue, as usual and typical with me, here is the end of the story with apple and what came after that: on 4/12/2009, literally 2 hours before I had to hit the road to the airport for my flight to New York, the brown UPS van parked in front of my building [...] |
