there is lot of ice cream in florence, especially downtown. but most of it it’s crap! it’s made with chemicals, powders and syrups.nice genuine ice cream made with real fruits and nuts is not necessarily that easy to find. one hidden gem, a little bit off the beaten track is Gelateria Ermini, in Via Gioberti [...] I saw this in Florence, Italy and I was shocked: Few meters away from this “automatic cafe” is one of my favourite Florence restaurants: Le Campane, the food is really good, the prices are reasonable and a friendly service.
