multi layered and self referential, perhaps even recursive?, this movie changed when tragedy struck and E. Klosinski, collaborator to A. Wajda and husband of main actress Krystyna Janda died during the shoot. It was then that the monologues of Krystyna Janda, talking of her husband but also in theme with the story of the movie, [...] surprisingly this almost 3hr movie has a plot. which is not particularly relevant. in fact this movie is so shocking in its visual language, in its time development, in the use of CGI to create real digital art rather than simple special effects, that the loose plot is really secondary. it is a movie that [...] finally i have managed to watch shorts at the LFF. tickets purchased well in advance, a lot of planning to avoid overbooking ourselves in too many film.
