[also posted on Amazon.co.uk as a review of the album] There is nothing new I can tell about Kenny Garrett, Pat Metheny and the other musicians in this album, nor there is anything new I can write about the album itself, a lot of people, amateurs like myself or established critics have said and [...] as a geek, this is a very exciting project. real instruments controlled by solenoids via MIDI. each with a light that shows when it’s being played. it is truly impressive and I can’t start thinking to all problems, especially latency and synchronisation. And I have no problem with the failure that happened at the end [...] Sade’s new album is coming out on Monday. In this video, Sade is seen using a very old iBook, the first generation, orange. Good girl!! [...] it is the most incredibly futuristic music instrument and possibly the ultimate gadget for music geeks: the Eigenharp.
