got this from a friend, just to fill the void that my life has become.. alas this move has little to give to fill the void. the main actor is already an indicator that the movie is going to be stupid. Besides, there was a really good scifi movie from 1976 (Logan’s run) on a [...] I loop like an infinite while statement. Instead of reading new books, I can’t help being drawn back to old books read and reread many times over. Mona Lisa Overdrive is one of those, like really any other William Gibson’s books. and yet every time I reread a WG’s book, it’s like the first time. [...] I have just finished watching BSG reimagined for the second time, from the miniseries to the end of season 4. It took 25 years to go from the the original BSG concept and series, to the new series which is, without any shadow of doubt (and according to the general consensus), THE best sci-fi series [...] this is actually a re-read. many a-years ago I read this book translated in italian and obviously it struck me as a great book. i loved the ideas in it, especially the ideas about revolution and freedom and fighting for ideals and TANSAATAFL. Great SF book. [...] The website SCIFI.co.uk, has just published the results of a poll conducted within its community asking which the 20 best scifi (and fantasy and horror) movies.
